Do you feel overwhelmed and out of control when it comes to feeling your feelings? Are you someone who tends to avoid your emotions using food, substances or other painful coping strategies when they feel heavy and distressing? Do you feel like you have trouble experiencing the spectrum of emotions and tend to feel extremes? Do you feel like you are cut off from the wisdom of your body? In this course, you’ll learn skills and strategies to integrate emotions to live a full and embodied life. 

This 10-week course is designed to help participants find freedom around challenging emotions in their mind and bodies. Each of the 10 sessions will be split into 45 minutes of psychoeducation/processing and 45 minutes of experiential yoga to allow for the ultimate mind/ body integration. The course is facilitated by Alex Zipkis LMHC-LP, a trauma- informed licensed therapist, and Estee Glikman, Registered Dietitian/Certified Yoga Teacher, and will explore themes of shame, confusion, helplessness, happiness, anxiety, anger, grief/sadness and ultimately embodiment/self-trust.
